Before embarking on a coaching career, Dr. Richardson experienced a hugely successful playing career where she helped UCLA win a National Championship and later won two gold medals for Team USA in the 1996 Atlanta and 200 Sydney Olympic Games - hitting the game-winning home run in the 1996 event. She is the author of two books, Go For It! A Conversation About Being You and Living the Dream: The Dot Richardson Story.
